It's About Time

I learned two things today; Lute Olsen is retiring and Sarah Palin announced her policy on disabled students to the world. To both I say, it's about time!!!

Lute has forced his long time fans to witness the disintegration of a great coach and Tucson icon. To most he was a hero that has disappointed.

Sarah Palin has forced us to wait for her to blossom into the hero we all knew she could be. I have a feeling she will not disappoint.

Sarah Palin is ready to address the REAL deficit in Washington - the lack of Commonsense and Integrity.

We must work harder than her rabid opposition. We must send our money, volunteer our time and make sure the votes are delivered.

This nation would benefit greatly from her sound reasoning and bravery to face vicious opposition.

I hope you will join all the strong women across Arizona and this nation and support our senator's great choice for VP!

As I watch Governor Palin during the closing days of the campaign, I can't help but wonder about families with special needs children.

Are they inspired? Do they feel a sense of optimism with the prospect of an advocate in The White House?

I, for one, am inspired.

As a UA alum, you hit a soft spot with Lute Olson. It's a shame that his career had to end with such a thud, but it's also a shame that the UA basketball program has been left in shambles and won't recover for at least 3-4 years.
